Can I Schedule an Uber?

Hey guys,
Will I be able to use your API to schedule a vehicle say in 3 hours from now, or say for tomorrow at 11:15am?

    Hi Vastra- We currently don't have an endpoint that schedules a ride in the way that you are describing. Uber is an on-demand service, but I can definitely see used case for that. Perhaps you can somehow build something that helps solve that scenario?

    Vastra - you might also want to look into Iron.io's IronWorkers. You can schedule a future task (like making a request) for a specific time in the future and return a success / error response. I use it to schedule SMS messages.

    Thanks, Neal. Scheduling is already built into my app. However, as you can see in this discussion ( http://uberhackathon.challengepost.com/forum_topics/4482-will-uber-pick-up-packages ), hacking on packages is a no-no for this hackathon. So am testing my app on anther platform.
